Chy Morvah St Ives

Chy Morvah, meaning 'house by the sea' in Cornish, is certainly an appropriate name for this seaside hotel. Views from the lounge and dining room extend across the golden sands of St Ives Bay to the lighthouse at Godrevy Point. The house, designated as non-smoking, has 40 en-suite bedrooms, equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Flatscreen TVs are provided in the bedrooms or guests can relax in the comfortable lounges and fully licensed bar stocked with a wide range of Cornish wines, lagers, ales and ciders. The outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May to September inclusive and guests can also enjoy putting outdoors or table football indoors. Accommodation through LateRooms is on a BandB basis. From A30 follow A3074 to St Ives through Carbis Bay.Follow left fork signposted Leisure centre.Turn left up steep hill and tuen left again.Turn right at Longships Hotel and stright up hill.Hotel is directly in front.Follow road around hotel and turn right into Bishops rd.Car park is just after hotel.
